Hello —This is strange ---- I just bought a dvd copy of “Looking for Mr Goodbar” I started to process it makemkv so I could put it on my home server and makemkv poped up with this message - attached
The dvd case was sealed and the dvd looks “official” — based on the copyright I think that it is an import –
Is this common?

If it's something about Mac the ripper or whatever the disc is most likely a bootleg.

It's absolutely bootleg. Check if the disc is region free and unencrypted.
