No worries, but now that you've managed to re-enable LibreDrive, can you provide a discatt.dat file for this disk please? It would still be useful to add this variant of "Tangled" to the public KEYDB.cfg file, and a replacement discatt.dat would "fix" the TGZ dump file that you've already provided :).

You can create a discatt.dat file by asking MakeMKV to create an encrypted disk back-up into a temporary directory, waiting until the discatt.dat file appears (and it should be one of the first files created), and then copying it to a safe location before aborting the back-up.

Have you also considered using SamuriHL's KEYDB Helper utility?

Almost, except that you have provided the disk's Unit_Key_RO.inf file instead of its MKB_RO.inf file. Can you (compress and) upload the MKB_RO.inf file from your physical UHD disk please?

And don't forget also to email your TGZ dump file to svq@makemkv.com.

Never mind, I see.
For the sake of clarity, there is no issue with AACS 2.1 disc dumps being submitted via this thread. But it is important that users understand:
1. MakeMKV will not utilise the public keydb for AACS 2.1 titles
2. The public keydb doesn't contain all of the required disc-specific keys for proper playback of AACS 2.1 titles
3. libaacs in its current public form doesn't support AACS 2.1 playback even if all of the keys were available in the keydb

Submitting AACS 2.1 disc dumps will not change the current playback/decryption situation but they may be utilised to facilitate support in the future.

  • You must include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder on your disc

Hmm, your dump is actually MKB20_v77_The_Sound_of_Music_4E29.tgz. And there is no point also providing the MKB_RO.inf file from inside the TGZ dump file, because you've already provided that one by providing the TGZ dump file. Not only that, the only reason for asking for the MKB_RO.inf separately in the first place is because the one inside the TGZ dump has been truncated to only 56 bytes, which makes it useless to anyone except MakeMKV itself.
