Sorry, my MakeMKV told me it was enabled, not sure what was going on. I tried again today on a whim and it was able to open the disc, but then failed to save the files. Then I remembered reading somewhere that 4K disc reading/ripping can require alot of power that USB drives can struggle with (my drive is USB), so I plugged it in to the back of my PC instead of the front panel and it successfully saved the files. So glad because the disc had given me no end of trouble, I was cycling through different BU40N
firmwares in the hopes to get it to work, I guess restarting the PC and using the back panel made it work. Sorry for taking up your time. I'm using a Verbatim utra slim 4K 43888 if thats useful. Thanks again

Your disc was added to the public keydb on June 12 last year. If you opened up any keydb.cfg from the past six months in a text editor you could've searched for and found your disc ID.

I was really fucking clear in the opening post about the requirement for including the full MKB_RO.inf file. If your disc wasn't already supported by the public keydb, the 56 byte stub in your disc dump file would've been useless compared to the actual file on your disc:

Partial disc dumps
UHD disc dump files are generally 3-8MB. If your disc dump is less than 1MB, you will need to manually include the MKB_RO.inf file when uploading your disc dump file. You can find this file within the AACS folder on your disc. The MKB_RO.inf file may be ~128MB so feel free to zip it before uploading it.

Do not just extract the ~56 byte MKB_RO.inf file from a partial disc dump file and upload it separately. This is not helpful. Instead, copy the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder on your disc and upload it separately. If your MKB_RO.inf file is not several megabytes in size, it is probably not useful for UHD discs.
