Somehow my image did not attach.
Not sure how to get it properly in an image tag or attachment. So I uploaded it here:

You don't add attachments here. You should upload somewhere else like you have done.

Why are you showing us the label. It is not relevant. We only need to see the drive info & libredrive info sections from MakeMKV which you have already provided.

Just email in the firmware dump as requested and then you can flash it as I already said.
Cheers :D

Hi, new here. Just wanted to say that this ASUS BW-16D1X-U External (M-Disc Compatible) drive is definitely flashable to the LibreDrive Firmware. Mine was manufactured in 2023, didnt even bother shucking the casing to get to the drive inside.

Backed up the base firmware with the SDFTool Flasher.
Flashed it with - DE_ASUS_BW-16D1HT_3.10_MK.bin
Waited about 10 seconds for it to complete. Turned it off and unplugged the USB.
Rebooted my PC for safe measure.
Then I archived Justice League 4K 2-disc set without issue.

I did do a OmniDrive flash right after to test it out as well, then after that I flashed back to LibreDrive CFW.

What I did notice is that jumping between 4K/UHD and HD Blurays it may cause the drive to hang up and cause I/O read errors. Could be that ive been archiving about 30+ discs today, and that the USB ports on my mobo are like please stop. Full PC shutdown for about 2 minutes cleared that up and I archived about 7 more discs so far since.

Hope this helps putting it on the compatibility list.
