The following new UHD titles have been added to the public keydb: Leon
Unfortunately, the title cannot be deciphered. The key on my disc is different.

Attached is information about the new Steelbook UHD

KEYDB already contains this disk, and it matches your dump. Is the KEYDB.cfg file inside MakeMKV's data directory out-of-date?

'E064BA3E3F81' is not correct for your disc. Please re-read the opening post of this thread. I explained the process of calculating the actual disc ID. If anything is still unclear, please post to this thread.

  • Please use file hosts, not forum attachments
  • You must include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder on your disc
  • Place the extracted keydb.cfg file in the same directory as your disc dump files

This thread is for helping each other. We should be nice and polite, especially considering that everyone's experience is different.

Yes, the key is up to date, and yes, it always preloads for me, and I've been posting a lot of dumps correctly for a long time.

Apparently, the problem lies elsewhere. Everything is updated. Nevertheless, MKV still displays "Backup Failed"!

If you get backup failed then it is not a decryption issue. More likely that you need to clean the disc.

I usually replace the keys myself.

But the information that I should try again with Key Helper was helpful.

I found the problem.

I had only updated the German key.

The Leon key, however, was in the English database.

All good. It was due to the German key database.
By backup error, I mean missing key.
This is what Make KV displays as a error before the copying process, and it aborts at the start.
It's not always translated correctly into English.
