I see others list this drive, but I am missing the line "Highest AACS version." Is this drive flashable? If it makes a difference, I use the drive on an Ubuntu system, and only have it on Windows to flash it. I have SPFtool flasher and All you need firmware pack

Drive Information
OS device name: E:
Manufacturer: ASUS
Product: BW-16D1X-U
Revision: A105
Serial number:
Firmware date: 2120-12-02 11:14
Bus encryption flags: 1F

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: MT1959
Yep, flash to WH16NS60 1.02-MK and you are good to go.
That worked. Thank you for all you efforts and support. I see you have helped a LOT of people. Thank you for that!

Throwing my hat into this pile.
Hoping to confirm instructions and process for flashing::

Code: Select all

Manufacturer: ASUS
Product: BW-16D1X-U
Revision: A105
Serial number: <RandomThing>
Firmware date: 2120-12-02 11:14
Bus encryption flags: 1F
Highest AACS version: 72

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: MT1959

No disc inserted
I assume i just grab the All You Need Firmware Pack (MartyMcNuts).zip or the https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HRnbXi ... 0FCdM/view
And follow the ultimate guide?
viewtopic.php?f=16&t=19634

and i'm hopefully not special?
Feel free to tell me that i'm special and needing percussive correction, would be nice to not brick this drive although i have no issues with getting an actual good reader

Yep, it's a LG drive. You can flash it directly to WH16NS60 1.02-MK, which is the recommended firmware.
Cheers :D
