To flash you need Windows anyway. So try with a Windows PC or install a VM. VMWare is recommended.

I have a Pioneer BDR-UD03 internal drive with firmware version 1.10. I would like to use it to rip 4K UHD Blu-rays with MakeMKV. LibreDrive is currently not activated.
Can you please help me with the right flashing tool or firmware to make it UHD friendly?
