LG WH16NS60 Firmware

Post by wickdguy »

I know this has probably been asked too many times but I"m trying to downgrade the frimware on my LG drive so I can use Make MKV to copy 4K UHD Blu Rays. As I understand it this is the file I need - HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH16NS60-1.02-NM00100-211810291936.bin but I have no clue as to how to find it here (I'm on a Win 10 machine). The only one I've found is for Linux.

Can someone please point me in the right direction (and again I apologize as this has probably been requested too many time already).

Thanks for your reply. I was actually able to get the firmware downgrade installed. When I first ran Make MKV after downgrading the firmware I got an error (don't remember what it was. I ultimately gave up and shut down the PC (I have another Mac I went back to). Just booted up the PC and started Make MKV and now it seems to be running fine. I'm assuming the issue was the PC had to be restarted to get the "new" firmware recognized by Windows.

Make MKV is running now so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks again!

Andy
