First time submitting so hope I got all this right!
...
Disc dump filename: MKB20_v82_Thunderbirds_4K_Collectors_Edition_3D88.tgz
Hey Jay, thanks for submitting that disc dump file. You did everything right, but MakeMKV seems to have run into an issue whilst generating that disc dump file.

Could you please move that dump file out of MakeMKV's data directory, completely power off your disc drive, restart your computer and generate a new disc dump file? Feel free to post the newly generated disc dump file to this thread whenever you get a chance.

There is no need to change any MakeMKV setting or drive firmware. I believe the cause was either a transient issue or possibly a quirk of your particular disc.
I knew mine wouldn't be that easy haha. I've followed your instructions, here's the new dump MakeMKV created.

Your disc was added to the public keydb on November 27. The intro to your post is also completely irrelevant for the purposes of the keydb.

By choosing to not read the opening post of this thread you have wasted both my time and your own. Please read it before posting here again. If any aspect of the first post is still unclear to you after trying to read it, please PM me. I won't actually read your PM, but I will respond to you.
Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
  • LG/Buffalo/Asus drives only (Pioneer drives are not supported)
  • Please use file hosts, not forum attachments
  • If your disc dump is under 3MB, you need to manually include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder

Thank you for uploading it to the database. It appears to be working here.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm finding inconsistent information online.
What process are you using to convert the disc dumps into entries in keydb.cfg? I'm interested in learning how to do this on my own.

Read the first post. You need to copy that file directly from the disc.

Hey Jay, thanks for following up but your disc variant was added to the keydb a couple of days ago thanks to the equivalent disc dump file provided by the user Baden.

Hey jisoo9707, your disc dump files seems to be structured quite strangely. Did you happen to edit or modify the file? Was it created from a commercial/pressed disc? Or does it correspond to a BDAV disc created with a Blu-ray recorder?

Hey csbond2, thanks for the honesty. Luckily for you that file isn't required for your particular disc as the media key was already present in the keydb record of a different disc variant. Grab the very latest keydb and you should be good to go,

Hey Ben, thanks for the submission. Your Pioneer disc drive is fine for 1080p discs but it can't be used to generate UHD keydb entries from scratch. Luckily for you, the user FonduemangVI posted a suitable disc dump file created with an LG drive in the Dogma title thread so both of your discs have been added to the public keydb.
