I sent my drive to a pro here and he flashed it out of the chassis. He said it worked but he believes that the issue with this particular drive is having enough power. I have a dell 90 watt powerbank. Will that solve this issue? He said its a issue with having enough power for the SAT Commands.

I think, external drives do need 12 Volts, and power banks usually only give 5 Volts.

Or is it a slim drive only having USB? does it have two USB cables you would both need to use?
