I need help too getting to rip 4K. I have the BDR-XD07B.

Cannot be done. The firmware is post 11/2022 and cannot be cross-flashed for UHD compatibility but you can enable libredrive for standard bluray by downloading the latest SDF.bin and placing it in the MakeMKV data directory.

I too would appreciate unlocking the 4K capabilities of my Pioneer.
