SBW-06D5H-U_Mac User_BR Disc Failing to Open

Post by Kujiwawa »

Purchased the following slim drive not long ago and cannot seem to get Blu-rays to respond. Keeps failing. Currently running a Mac. Any help is much appreciated.

Make sure it gets enough power. Use USB-C if possible and external power (if it came with a power supply). Try again and report back.

Only one input into drive. USB C is plugged into MacBook Pro... Attached is my setup. I can rip regular DVD's but keep getting the errors on BR's.

Have you restarted your Mac recently? This is necessary for the support of your drive with the new Makemkv functionality.

Then please try a couple of BDs and post a full message of what is displayed in the log. Just copy and paste the text. You don't need to attach pictures.
