The F420 variant of Demolition Man has been added to the public keydb.
Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
- LG/Buffalo/Asus drives only (Pioneer drives are not supported)
- Please use file hosts, not forum attachments
- If your disc dump is under 3MB, you need to manually include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder

It is ripping now. Thank you!
Re: Demolition Man Dump Submitted
Hi,
How can I get this?
I've downloaded the keydb from Find VUK online database, and also used the Find VUK tool, but neither have the F420 variant.
Thanks.

Thanks, I gave it a go and still not working.
I appear to have two issues:
1. my Asus drive doesn't always recognise it. When it does, it's only in Mac OS, not Windows, and when MakeMKV isn't running. I saw on another post to load the disc, before starting MakeMKV, let the OS recognise the disc then start MakeMKV
2. When Mac OS does recognise the disc and I start MakeMKV, it has the disc information, and then problems arise when I try to either create an MKV file or create a backup. Other posts have listed the issues.
I've run KeyDB Helper today to download the latest keyed.cfg file. Looking through the keys for Demolition Man, there's only one key for UHD, and it doesn't match Ralph P's posted on 3rd December 2024 " MKB20_v77_DEMOLITION_MAN_-_4K_UHD_F420".
I'd like to get a hold of that key to give it a go. If it doesn't work with that, then at least I can write it off as a bad disc.

The F420 variant of Demolition Man has been supported by the public keydb since December 10. Ralph has previously confirmed that the public keydb supported his F420 disc variant. It has the libaacs disc ID value of 0xA5B046B47E0145AAAFFFFEC8FFEEEE23957950B1.

Thanks for confirming.
I almost gave up, but gave it one last try and was able to backup the disc, and then make the MKV file, after.

Re: Demolition Man Dump Submitted
I'm currently having this issue with TWO discs of Demolition Man. One is the Limited Edition from Arrow Video, the other standard. makemkv recognizes the disc, but when I try to run it to rip, it just spits debug codes at me. This also happens for both standard editions of Conan the Barbarian and Destroyer, as well as Basketcase, but I did sucessfully rip Basketcase once. And I can't again. Sometimes I get read errors, sometimes key exchange failures.
I've download the sdf.bin file manually. Is Demolition Man still giving people issues?
My Drive is the ASUS BW-16D1HT flashed to the 3.10 with Java and Libredrive active. It works with so many other discs. A quirk here is, this doesn't reliably dump .tgz files. When a 4k disc fails, my drive goes into sleep mode and I have to reset.
Edit: I did get a .tgz file generated and have e-mailed it. The variant at the end was F421, not F420 like mentioned in this thread

I did end up getting a .tgz file submitted to the e-mail, the variant at the end was F421, not F420. That could be the issue?

Check out the hashed keys section of the UHD FAQFriggingrease wrote: ↑Thu Nov 13, 2025 12:06 pmI did end up getting a .tgz file submitted to the e-mail, the variant at the end was F421, not F420. That could be the issue?
Re: Demolition Man Dump Submitted
These two variants are actually the same disk. However, the F421 tgz dump file will contain a truncated MKB_RO.inf file, whereas the F420 dump will contain the disk's complete MKB_RO.inf file.Friggingrease wrote: ↑Tue Nov 11, 2025 11:07 pmIEdit: I did get a .tgz file generated and have e-mailed it. It seems odd that MakeMKV would be creating a F421 dump when someone has already submitted a F420 one. Has your UHD drive enabled LibreDrive?
