Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Hey 99gagamel, thank you for following the submission template. Your disc has been added to the public keydb.
Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
- LG/Buffalo/Asus drives only (Pioneer drives are not supported)
- Please use file hosts, not forum attachments
- If your disc dump is under 3MB, you need to manually include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
I just want to ask for clarification....
The MKB_RO is required only when the dump is less than 3mb or do you want it with every dump submission going forward?
Great job and thanks for help and your valuable time you have graciously put into this project

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Technically, speaking the MKB_RO file is only needed when the copy of this file inside the TGZ dump has been truncated to only 56 bytes. The MKB_RO file is very large for UHD disks, and so truncating it will make the TGZ dump file much smaller. For ordinary BD disks, the MKB_RO file is small anyway and I've never known MakeMKV to truncate it. Most likely, the TGZ dump for an ordinary BD contains the full MKB_RO and is still < 3MB in size, which means you don't need to provide the MKB_RO file separately.zaqqaz6917 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 06, 2025 3:09 pmThe MKB_RO is required only when the dump is less than 3mb or do you want it with every dump submission going forward?
To be super technical, look at the dump's 4-character variant code: If this code is even then MakeMKV has not truncated the MKB_RO file. However, if it is odd then the MKB_RO file inside has been truncated, and so you would need to provide the MKB_RO file from the UHD disk separately.

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
This disk is already in the KEYDB file. MakeMKV was unable to decrypt it because your drive failed to enable LibreDrive.
