Thanks to everyone who has been following the submission template. I'll amend the first post to include a new row regarding LibreDrive status.

All posted UHD discs have been added to the public keydb. The following UHD discs provided new media keys to the public keydb:

Code: Select all

MKB20_v70_MARVEL'S_AVENGERS-_AGE_OF_ULTRON_C9A9
MKB20_v70_MARVEL'S_THE_AVENGERS_5083
MKB20_v77_MantaMantaUHD_C053
MKB20_v77_WoodooDieSchreckensinselDerZombiesUHD_9BA5
mkb20_v82_americanpsycho_faea
MKB20_v82_Cheech_and_Chong's_Last_Movie_80E8
MKB20_v82_Den_of_Thieves_Pantera_0FBC

The main reason I asked because I can see people posting separate MKB_RO.inf files on AACS1.0 blu-rays here and apparently that is not needed at all!

Or should I compare the files between a dump and a disc if they are the same size? Is there any reason at all?
The MKB_RO.inf file is essential for all AACS 1.0 and 2.0 discs. Fortunately it is almost always present in its entirety within AACS 1.0 disc dump files. So you are correct that it doesn't need to be supplied separately for AACS 1.0 discs.

But if I try to introduce that sort of nuance into instructions which most people barely skim through, I will end up receiving even more 100-200KB AACS 2.0 disc dumps.

emailed dump file to Mr Penguin
Please don't post in this thread just to say you have sent someone a PM. Particularly for new UHD discs, it will be more efficient to post a submission using the template in the opening post.
Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
  • LG/Buffalo/Asus drives only (Pioneer drives are not supported)
  • Please use file hosts, not forum attachments
  • If your disc dump is under 3MB, you need to manually include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder

Hey marcuse111, thanks for following the submission template. Your disc 2 variant has been added to the public keydb.

With regards to disc 3, you seem to have provided a link to the disc 2 MKB_RO.inf file instead of the disc 3 dump file. Fix that up whenever you get a chance and disc 3 can be added as well.

I sent an email with the dump file svq@makemkv.com

MKB20_v77_CROW_REMASTERED_3293

I am not sure if that is the latest correct procedure.

Thanks for your great help.

Hey MKVDUDE, both of your discs have been added to the public keydb. If there is a delay in processing disc dumps, please don't repeat the same posts here. Especially after just 9 hours...

Sorry marcuse111, but neither link seems to be accessible. Please try again and verify the links in Incognito/private browsing mode before posting them to this thread.

Hey Rey111, sorry but that is not the correct procedure for this thread. Did you notice how your post is quite distinct from every other post as they actually provide links to disc dump files? If you'd like to contribute please read the first post in this thread.

Thank you - I reposted as we seemed to post almost at the same time and thought my original post may have been missed. Sorry. What you do for us is very much appreciated!
