Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV?
Yup, downloaded it yesterday, and as of the time of download, this disc was not in there.
Could you provide a public download link for your TGZ dump file please? It might be possible to add it to KEYDB.
Thanks, Einstein, for the basic knowledge there. Would have been incredibly helpful if this post was about KeyDB. However, this post was about submitting the dump to MakeMKV.
I think both SamuriHL and I have assumed that you have already emailed your dump to svq@makemkv.com, and we are both trying to help add your disk to KEYDB as well. There's very little help to be given with MakeMKV's own hashed keys database, because once you have emailed your TGZ dump file, the only thing you can do is wait.
...and this is a reason to be rude if someone wants to offer help?bman7 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 18, 2025 6:19 pmThis post continues to go in pointless circles, and this will be my last reply.
I submitted the dump for this disc to MakeMKV and I made a post on this forum saying that I submitted the dump. THAT IS ALL THIS POST WAS ABOUT.
It was taken off-topic (not by me) to a discussion about KeyDB.
The irony being that you might have been able to decrypt your disk days ago already, by helping add it to the KEYDB
