If you're referring to the HDR10+ scene cuts, we no longer use them when generating DV. They often don't make sense, and Resolve's scene cut detection does a better job.

Has anyone noticed that the scene cuts (workflow 2-1 in Dovi Scripts) for Alien from 1979 are rather strange and unusual compared to almost all other movies. The UHD is HDR10 plus and I ripped it myself from disc with makemkv. Same goes for the H265 remux you can find on the Internet. So my rip is definitely fine.
Anyone noticed the same? Theatrical Cut by the way.

The script defaults to using internal/external scene cuts or madvr to generate them, so you will have to remove HDR10plus(2-2) to force madvr.
You could also use 6-2 to create the scene cuts. Rename the generated RPU the same as the mkv and run 3-1

What do you think about the Kodi app on android tv? I just installed the app on my Sony a95l and it seems to play all the Dolby Vision 4K remuxes smoothly. Might be a good option for those that can't get the Ugoos.
