Please don't create separate threads for disc dumps. You should make your post in the Public KeyDB Submissions thread.Hellmark wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 5:35 pmSent in a copy of the dump to the email, but also have it here.

Unless Hellmark can create a new disc dump file with an LG/Asus/Buffalo drive there is no point posting to the keydb thread.MartyMcNuts wrote: ↑Sun Sep 14, 2025 1:10 amPlease don't create separate threads for disc dumps. You should make your post in the Public KeyDB Submissions thread.
Depending on the drive used to create a partial disc dump file, it may be possible to create a new keydb entry. By iterating through all of the media keys in the keydb and using the VID in the discatt.dat file you can derive a candidate VUK. The candidate VUK can in turn be used to decrypt the encrypted unit keys in Unit_Key_RO.inf and create candidate unit keys. These candidate unit keys can then be tested against the aligned units in the kv.dat file and if any unit key works then a complete record (MK, VID, VUK and UK) can be created and submitted to the keydb.
(The _verify_ts function in libaacs details the preferred method of validating unit keys against aligned units)
If no candidate unit key works, then it is possible that the media key is not already in the keydb and adding it will require both the full MKB_RO.inf file and a disc dump from a non-Pioneer drive. It is also possible that the Pioneer drive used to create the partial disc dump file returns an obfuscated VID and this will also require a different drive to be used.
The disc dump file Hellmark provided falls into at least one of these two possible categories.
Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
- LG/Buffalo/Asus drives only (Pioneer drives are not supported)
- Please use file hosts, not forum attachments
- If your disc dump is under 3MB, you need to manually include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder

If your UHD disc dump is created with a Pioneer drive, there is no point in posting it here at all. Simply follow the standard process of emailing it to svq@makemkv.com.Hellmark wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 5:35 pmSent in a copy of the dump to the email, but also have it here.

The latest KEYDB.cfg file contains an entry for your disk, but I'm not convinced it is correct. Could you also provide the AACS/MKB_RO.inf file from your physical UHD disk please? The copy of this file insude your TGZ dump file has been truncated to only 56 bytes, which makes it unusable to anyone except MakeMKV itself

BTW, does this KEYDB.cfg entry allow you to unlock your disk?
