Version 1.18.1 Says 'Out of Date" when booting

Post by aabbott13 »

I tried installing v1.18.1 on Fedora 42, but I get a notice that the version is out of date and I have to either enter a registration key or install a new version to use the software. This is troublesome as 1.18.1 is the most recent version.

If you do not already have a key when starting 1.18.1, we are already past it's cur-ott date. Until Mike issues a new key, you're stuck with setting your system time to a date in July 2025, starting MakeMKV, then resetting your system date to today.

It's been part of MakeMKV "forever", going at least back to 2011 when I started using it.

I have been trying to buy a license for some time as I like to reward people for their effort. However the payment site "paypro global" keeps telling me for the last few weeks "The action is temporarily unavailable". Is there a working link?

Yes I would also like to see this working again, I would also like to purchase soon or similar. Thank you for this project!

I tried to back-date my system and no go on the ubuntu 24 18.1 snap. Did I make a mistake? Does this still work?
