Verbatium Model BD-RE BP50NB40 Won't read 4k discs

As the above title says, bought it from Amazon US, followed the steps in order to flash the drive (discs could read prior to doing this), attempted flashing using the LG slim BP50NB40 preset while accidently hitting the recover option too. This causes the disc to attempt reading numerous times before failing. I was recommended to flash twice and that still proves nothing. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.

You need to flash the BU40N firmware (use the Recovery option) to get 4K bluray support. BP50NB40 firmware only supports regular bluray.

Has your drive SVC: NB52?
