Good news: the Doom9 AACS 1.0 MKBv82 device key is now included with the public keydb, so no additional steps should be required.

Device and Host keys are revoked in a new MKB versions. Once you have a new MKB v83 disc (not a thing....yet) then it'll likely revoke the device key that's been leaked. All current host keys are revoked in MKB v82. But with LibreDrive, we don't care. We only care about device and processing keys IMO.

Since the recent upgrade of makeMKV, it hasn't been reading my discs. I sent the drive info to Billy and he said everything looked fine to him but still won't recognize it. In windows explorer when I put a blu-ray in, it lists the title but not for a 4K. Has anyone else have this problem?

Nope. Sounds like an issue with the drive and/or disc. If Windows doesn't recognize it there's an issue in one of those two.

I put a CD in and when I clicked the icon, it ejected the disc - no disc installed

Where would I find Revo Installer? It works fine with blu-ray but not for 4K discs. Do you know of a way or someone that would know how to get it back in System Devices? Thanks for your help

Do a search for Revo Uninstaller in Google, that software will get rid of all of the extra files so when you install MakeMKV again it will be a fresh install.

Do a search for New Devices or In Device Manager uninstall reboot and then it will pick it up, I wouldn't worry about it not showing up as its in Device Manager.

Ok, this is amazing. Have a brand new UHD disc for my wife's birthday and this enabled MakeMKV to rip it!

The following functions are available:

* Synchronize - Syncs the keydb.cfg file using FindVUK and then copies it to the MakeMKV data directory
* Validate - Validates your disc in the KeyDB file. This is a VERY good thing to be doing with all your discs!! It helps to maintain the integrity of the KeyDB.
* Disc Info - Shows you the information for your disc including the disc ID. If your KeyDB.cfg file contains device keys and/or processing keys, it COULD, in theory, maybe use those to ADD entries to the KeyDB. You know, for those pesky MKB v82 blu-rays everyone is loving.
* Disc Hash - Content Hash validation for the disc. I personally use this on my mounted protected ISOs after creating them to validate they're good but you can use it directly on a disc if you want, it'll just be slower
* Search - Allows you to search for a disc ID to see if it's in the keydb
* Fix... - Special option used for very specific reasons. Allows updating of the keydb in some situations.

The MKB v82 device key has been added to the public keydb.cfg. You no longer need to add it using the Fix functionality in my tool.

Once in a great while when the luck of the stars work in your favor, SOMETIMES on rare occasions this disc info process might help you find a VUK for a UHD that you're waiting for. To be clear, this code contains ZERO keys and there are NO public AACS 2.x processing keys...but sometimes you get lucky with other entries that could be in the KeyDB just waiting to be taken advantage of at times.

NOTE: This will not work on certain Pioneer drives. The VID needs to be able to be read correctly for it to work.

If you see [MakeMKV SUPPORTED]: FALSE it means that the KeyDB entry does not contain a VUK. You should post a dump or a link to a dump for your disc to see if someone can add a full entry to the KeyDB for your disc

That's all it does. But should make things easier for those who use the KeyDB in concert with MakeMKV.

Could you add an extra copy of the KeyDB file if it already exist in "C:\Programdata\aacs\"?
This is for VLC!

It too bad they all can't use the same path to KeyDB. VLCs path looks like a good general path for it actually.
