BDR 212V UHD Guide
Re: BDR 212V UHD Guide
Thank you.
By the way, when I checked the Pioneer website, I found that the firmware for the BDR-211M is 1.5x (1.51, 1.52, 1.53...), but the BDR-211M I have is 1.02. Do you know why this is?

Re: BDR 212V UHD Guide
Here you see that they started with 1.02 and then switched to 1.5x.

The 211 is the OEM version of S11 w/o software.

Re: BDR 212V UHD Guide
Hi everyone,
I'll start by apologizing as I'm sure this has been asked a million times before.
I brought an ASUS BW-16D1H-U recently as I have a stack of old DVD's & blu-rays that I want rip so I can watch them on the Zidoo player I just brought but being a basic noob (I grew up when VHS was a thing) I didn't realize that the drive platform played a big part in the ripping of 4K UHD disks.
Is there a way of flashing this drive to make it compatible so I can rip 4K movies? Drive specs attached below
If anyone can help me out I'd really appreciate it.

PM sent. You need a Windows PC or a good VM like VMWare.Semi-Noob wrote: ↑Sat Jul 19, 2025 4:31 amHi everyone,
