BH14ns40 dead?

Post by midnightraven12 »

im sure all of you are getting tired of post like these, but heres another i guess. I have a bh14ns40 that i flashed incorrectly and tried to do the dosflash recovery method. After the flash erase in dos flash, dos flash crashed and froze. I could not close dos flash and could not select to continue and write the new firmware. I restarted the pc and now the drive is not even being seen by the bios. I know this is a very long shot, but is there anyway to recovery the drive?

Use it as a door stop. It'll do.

Update: I left it unplugged for a while and came back and it miraculously was detected in dos flash again. I wrote the firmware and when I put disks in I can see it try to read them, makemkv now reports libre is enabled and it’s loading a disk, but then it gives up
