Hi, all.
I tried looking for an answer in the forum but to no avail.
I just started ripping Blu-Rays for the first time. I've used MacXDVD to rip DVDs for years, and that program allows you to rip a single MP4 file with the English subtitles on by turning off the "disable subtitles" function.
For MakeMKV, I see that it rips a bunch of files, including the large file that's the movie.
Is there a way to do the same thing that MacXDVD does for DVDs, meaning rip a Blu-Ray so that the large file that's the movie also has the English subtitles turned on?
My hearing isn't as good at it used to be, so English subtitles are useful for me.
Or, if there's another alternative for playing the movie with the English subtitles on after ripping the Blue-Ray to MKV, let me know. I'm a newbie to all of this.
Thanks in advance.
Andrew

Re: ripping Blu-Ray with English subtitles turned on into a single MKV file?
Are you ripping the DISK, or the titles? If you're ripping to MKV files, you can select which ones to pull, and which tracks to include in them. This is done by clicking on the very large button that spins when the disk is initially reading.
