Glad to hear a fix is coming, I was a bit panicked when I put in a new Blu-ray today to rip and saw an error I've never seen MakeMKV show before.

YAY! Mike, you are my hero. Have googled everything in terms with this issue ... and found out that this is not a single problem of mine (have a purchased lifetime license). Had already suspected that there was a connection with macOS, but now I am reassured that the OS is the culprit. Before the update on Monday, everything was working fine.mike admin wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 8:29 amThe updated version for 15.4 will be available in a couple days.
Thanks again for your wok.

I’ve been having this issue, as well: do we have an ETA for the update?

Went to do first rip today since upgrading to 15.4, and ran into this error.

I hope so, Mike: this is very frustrating … !mike admin wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 8:29 amThe updated version for 15.4 will be available in a couple days.

Hadn't used MakeMKV for quite some time and tried at the worst moment, just after updating all my Mac to macOS 15.4!
Very good news that a fix is coming soon.
Also, MakeMKV can rip discs in a Windows VM (I fully tested Parallels Desktop and started a rip with UTM) on an Apple Silicon Mac, so for those with Windows VM, that's a (hopefully very temporary) workaround

Does this work for 4K's as well?jeromec wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 10:36 amHadn't used MakeMKV for quite some time and tried at the worst moment, just after updating all my Mac to macOS 15.4!

Yes. I only tried 1 4K Blu-ray disc though. I could use the MakeMKV registration code in MakeMKV for WindowsKonten wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 11:20 amDoes this work for 4K's as well?jeromec wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 10:36 amHadn't used MakeMKV for quite some time and tried at the worst moment, just after updating all my Mac to macOS 15.4!

This is with Parallels Desktop 20 and Windows 11 Pro 24H2 for ARM on a Mac Studio M1 Max with macOS 15.4.
I just extract directly to a (shared) folder on the Mac side
