I'm sick and tired of one-time-posters. Either participate in he forum until you have 8 posts to PM or ask Marty or Billy and pay your $25, Which is a good deal.

i guess this was directed at me?
So i do understand the 1 post feeling. But i have been using makemkv for years and really never have an issue with the software. So there was really no reason to join as i just lurked. Like how i came across this post as i was reinstallling on my Debian laptop. and following the linux guide.
Most of the time forums are for people who have issues and post to look for help or just to complain. When i join a forum, its usually based on a product i am using and looking for help or guidance. Or on the rare occasion i chime in if i feel like i can assist.
With this software, its usually set it and forget it and never have an issue like i said, but now seeing that there's possibly a route to make my hardware work with discs i thought i had to upgrade to use, i joined with the hopes of getting help to do that.
in the end, i guess ill never meet the requirement you set forth as i don't want to post garbage just for the sake of posting garbage. Again, if i post i hope to contribute not create noise.
anyway, thanks for listening and will always be grateful to the developers of this project as it is one of the most solid pieces of software i use (ripped over 320 discs and counting).
