Hi,
I have converted most of my DVD's to mkv now using makemkv and have had no problems until the last few days.
I am converting "The World Is Not Enough" DVD, but certain areas of the movie show audio glitches. These glitches have been confirmed by other users, and seem to be at particular points in the movie.
See thread below, where a user on the mpc-hc forums has visually shown the discontinuity glitch in this mkv.
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p ... ost1334699
I have a 1 minute sample, where approx 30 seconds into the clip you should hear a blip, or a sound distortion, depending on the player used.

I would appreciate any input on this, as the only common piece of software that can be used to reproduce the glitch is unfortunately makemkv 1.4.8.
I have edited the mkv for other reasons with mkvmerge, and resaving doesn't seem to fix the issue.

Re: One DVD -> MKV giving audio glitch / discontinuity problems
I would ask you to do a lenghty step. Please enable "log debug messages" in preferences, convert the specific title from the disc to mkv again, and post the log file (it will be created by makemkv in your home directory) here. feel free to wipe personal info (username) from it. Also please confirm that 1.4.7 or any earlier version did not show this behaivor.

I hope this helps. The disk itself is fine, i can copy with DVD Decrypter with no errors. Its like as if something like timecodes arn't accurate, giving audio glitches in certain parts of the mkv.
