got it flashed but it still doesn't register 4k discs and the BDR software is saying its a BDR-S11 not the 211 in your PM or S12u in the tutorial

S11 is correct. Shut down your PC. Wait a few seconds. Reboot. You didn't follow the instructions I guess.

Its working now that I tried it today, I did shut the computer off along with removing power and usb from it for about 30 seconds right after I flashed it yesterday and it wouldn't read it at all. I guess that wasn't long enough
