Hi!

Seeing as though there seems to be a lot of drives that is capable of flashing to a 4k-ripping capable state, I figured I'd try my luck as well. My hopes are low seeing as there's hardly any mentions of this exact drive, but I'd like to be sure that I'm not missing anything. This is my drive:

Manufacturer: ASUS
Product: BW-16D1H-U
Revision: E104
Firmware date: 2017-06-14
Bus encryption flags: 1B
Highest AACS version: 31

LibreDrive Information
Status: Enabled
Drive platform: RS8600
Firmware name: PIONEER BDR-209
Firmware type: Original (unpatched)
Firmware version: E104/ID71
DVD all regions: Yes
BD raw data read: Yes
BD raw metadata read: Yes
Unrestricted read speed: Yes

If there is any way to get this 4k-ripping capable I would really apreciate the help!
You have another PM.

You should show us the information Makemkv shows when you insert a disc.

Does the disc appear in Windows Explorer? Just insert disc without starting Makemkv. If not there is a hardware problem. Either the cables or the drive itself. If it appears, please reinstall Makemkv and try again. If it still doesn't work we should communicate via PM if you are all set to do so.

I run MX Linux but yes it appears in filemanager and i can see the files but they are locked. I can install windows 10 or 11 if you want to test there? and yes PM is good i think. I have never tried this. This is my first time on this forum and I have never done PM. maybe it is better to do anydesk og teamviewer so you can see my desktop?

Here is from windows 10 Pro and makemkv when i start it
