I am using a Pioneer drive in an external Other World Computing enclosure (with external power). The OS sees this drive as a 5GB/s device, so I think the USB3.1 is being properly converted to USB-C by my adapter.
Any ideas what's causing this? I've ordered a dedicated USB 3.1 type B to USB-C cable to rule out adapter issues.
Thanks!
Edit: I noticed it happens at a different offset each time. On another attempt I got
Code: Select all
Error 'Posix error - Device not configured' occurred while reading '/dev/rdisk5' at offset '26525958144'
