That makes total sense. I've never needed to download it prior to this.

1. The public keydb.cfg file generally has support for new titles several days or even weeks before MakeMKV adds support via its native "hashed key" database. So deleting the keydb.cfg file will serve no other purpose than restricting the titles you can decrypt.
2. Allowing internet access in MakeMKV will allow it to fetch the latest "hashed key" database but as I mentioned this database is distinct from the public database and slower to support new titles.

The FindVUK tool is usually recommended for synchronizing your local keydb.cfg file. There are a few guides on this forum which might you find helpful.
Just make sure that once FindVUK updates the keydb.cfg file that it gets copied into the MakeMKV directory. That's why following the guides on this forum is recommended because coopervid and others show how to modify the findvuk syncrhonize bat file to add that copy so it happens automatically.
