Seeking Advice on the Best Replacement for My UHD-Friendly Drive

Post by DayOne »

Hello, and first of all, I apologize for my poor English.

My UHD-friendly drive, which has served me well for years, is no longer able to read discs reliably. Now, I’m looking to purchase a new one. Since I haven’t kept up with the latest developments in this area and things have likely changed a lot, I wanted to ask which drive is currently the best to recommend. Also, is it better to go for a standard drive or a slim one?
I would really appreciate any suggestions.
