I found this website/forum doing some googling about my USB Pioneer BD-RW Drive.
I have a Pioneer BD-RW BDR-UD03D [ extra character 'D' in product id ] and cant find that much regarding this particular drive, makeMKV only shows limited info about the hardware. Does anyone know if this is compatible/moddable for UHD media.

many thanks in advance.
It took abit of time but got the drive working perfectly with your info and firmware. Initially thought it failed but it was a USB power issue that stopped it working properly (it just stopped reading discs properly) after firmware update. Connected the drive to a higher power USB-C with an adaptor and the drive now rips like a champ
Re: Pioneer BDR-UD03 UHD possibility
Yes. The Verbatim enclosure is very power hungry. That is well known.
