Re: Deadpool and Wolverine 4K Failed to open disc
If I need to move this post lmk..
I am having an issue where Windows and MakeMKV don't register the Deadpool and Wolverine 4K disc at all. I just get, "No disc", after the light blinks green a few times and maybe 30 seconds. I'm on MakeMKV v1.17.8 x64.
I know this likely isn't an issue with MakeMKV, but I haven't ever had an issue opening a 4K disc and I just ripped Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade yesterday, and have ripped probably 60 others. I tried adding the latest keydb.cfg to "%USERPROFILE%\.MakeMKV" with no result.
I tried the regular blu-ray and it works as expected. I stuck the 4K disc in my PS5 and it works perfectly. Drive info below, it is a flashed BDR-UD03. Wondering if anyone else is having a similar issue?

Re: Deadpool and Wolverine 4K Failed to open disc
tried that, mild soap, got it shining....still no dice... returning it and getting another copy from a different vendor
Re: Deadpool and Wolverine 4K Failed to open disc
I am having the same issue
I upgraded to the latest version already
Using LibreDrive mode (v06.3 id=E3767A939283)
Using direct disc access mode
Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files.
Saved AACS dump file as C:\Users\Rich/.MakeMKV/MKB20_v77_MARVEL_STUDIOS'_DEADPOOL_AND_WOLVERINE_CF38.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted

I think this is one of the "Deadpool and Wolverine" disks already in KEYDB.cfg.MartyMcNuts wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 12:37 amThe key isn't available yet. Did you email in your dump file?

Re: Deadpool and Wolverine 4K Failed to open disc
i have the same cf38 and the latest keydb that i could find didnt work
Re: Deadpool and Wolverine 4K Failed to open disc
Just want to update that with another copy from B&N and a copy of the US steelbook, I am still just getting the message that simply states "No disc". I have ripped another half-dozen or so 4K movies from disc so I'm fairly confident it isn't the drive. I'm getting a copy of the UK release because why not.. lol
Re: Deadpool and Wolverine 4K Failed to open disc
UK version arrived....was recognized and started ripping IMMEDIATELY...crazy...hopefully this helps someone down the road!SmarmyGRC wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 9:26 pmJust want to update that with another copy from B&N and a copy of the US steelbook, I am still just getting the message that simply states "No disc".
