Pioneer BDR-212DBK or BDR-209DBK

Post by Yanksnorth »

Hi Everyone,

I was just looking for some feedback and input about the Pioneer BDR-212DBK or BDR-209DBK drives. I am located in Canada and we do not have much to chose from. I have access to LG WH16NS40 and Asus BW-16D1HT. Looking for a drive to rip my Ultra HD movie collection. I have been using a LG BH12LS38 drive for years to rip Blu Ray's with no issues. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.

Get a Vinpower 212V and post again.

Thanks for the reply. What is the advantage of the 212V? I am not sure if it is available through Canadian retailers.

In Canada it is called Pioneer 212V sold by Vinpower on Amazon. It can be flashed to be UHD capable. Buy it and post again.
