This is a LG BU40N. Simply use SDFTool Flasher and flash it to BU40N 1.03-MK. I have a couple of older drives. The one I've been using and works very well is an ASUS SBW-06D2X-U. It wouldn't read the 4k discs though so I bought this Pioneer one, but it doesn't work with MakeMKV apparently. I'll see if I can return it.
