How did you get the keydb method to work? I tried it on two different computers and it's not working.
If your disk actually has an entry in KEYDB.cfg then
these instructions are typically enough. If you are using MacOS or Linux, you will need to ensure that the file is
literally named "KEYDB.cfg" and not (say) "keydb.cfg" because these operating systems have case-sensitive filesystems.
What is the full name of your TGZ dump file?
Lower case keybd.cfg works just fine on MacOS.

Hmm, that's not my understanding of how a UNIX-based operating system behaves... Can you confirm that MakeMKV is actually using the KEYDB.cfg file please, i.e. by moving the file
out of the data directory, restarting MakeMKV and trying to decrypt your disk again? It occurs to me that MakeMKV
might also have added your key to its hashed keys.

Yes I have tested this. Case is not sensitive.

Same here on Linux. It's possible MakeMKV simply looks for either keydb.cfg or KEYDB.cfg or does more robust searching for the file.

I didn't even think there might be different variations of the same movie
This is my hash as well; Canadian release possibly?
Thank you
