Zidoo Media player

Apologies for the off topic questions. I'm thinking of purchasing a Zidoo media player so I can playback my DVD and Blu ray rips on my tv however I'm a little stumped on which one I should buy because most of the reviews online are for the higher spec 4k and 8k media players not the lower spec ones. So originally I was thinking of buying the Z30 Pro but is quite out of budget at the moment and because it was released only a few months ago there aren't any used examples going for less than £339. So should I buy a used one and if so which one does any Zidoo users here recommend?

Another question I have is can it be possible once I have put all my ripped content onto a SATA drive in my Zidoo to wirelessly copy over any movies (Via its network) I rip later on to avoid me constantly removing it from the player?

Lastly for those who have a Zidoo player how’s the user experience and the technical support? Because I’m planning to have to for many years to come.

You might be better off getting a Ugoos AM6B+. It plays pretty much everything. Streaming from NAS is the way to go, or use an attached hard drive.

Originally I was thinking of setting up a NAS to stream my ripped movies, however I explained in a seperate forum post that I'm worried about any power cuts that could in worst case scenario corrupt the drives (Many bulbs and two clock radios). While a media player such as a Dune or a Zidoo I can switch it off.

Connect your NAS to an UPS. The UPS usually has a USB cable you can connect to your NAS that will let it know of a power interruption, and it will shut itself down.
UNRAID is a nice option.. NAS and RAID!
