Re: A Nightmare on Elm Street Dump Submitted
A new release of A Nightmare on Elm Street authored in August 2024 has been added to the public keydb. It may add support for your disc.
(Disc ID 0xE3B636717A33F66C443D372E06001BA4BE6E94C9)
Re: A Nightmare on Elm Street Dump Submitted
I submitted a dump for this too. Definitely taking a while for this one.
Re: A Nightmare on Elm Street Dump Submitted
Have you tried downloading the KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV?
Re: A Nightmare on Elm Street Dump Submitted
Haven't tried that. Will try now and report back. Thanks!
Re: A Nightmare on Elm Street Dump Submitted
Okay. That seemed to work. Ripping now! Does the file need to be the zip version or the decompressed keydb.cfg? I wasn't certain so I put both in the MakeMKV directory.
Re: A Nightmare on Elm Street Dump Submitted
You only need the uncompressed KEYDB.cfg file. And for MacOS and Linux-based machines, its file name must literally be KEYDB.cfg rather than (say) keydb.cfg because their file systems are case-sensitive.
And I think this proves that KEYDB does contain the key for the 48B2 disk.
Re: A Nightmare on Elm Street Dump Submitted
Thanks for your help! I will go ahead and delete the zip archive then.
