Hey Coopervid, am also interested in the BDR-UD03 flashing instructions. My drive is also a Verbatim branded Pioneer:

I just got a Verbatim 43890 and would love to be able to rip UHD with it. Here's my info from MakeMKV:

I am new to this forum and new to ripping UHD (BluRays work fine though...) As far as I understand it might be possible with my drive:
