idk , works fine for me. Try in manual mode, go into the temp folder and try to play the .avs script in avspmod, it will tell you the error.

It says "Cannot load file 'Z:/01DoVi/tools/avs_libplacebo.dll'. Platform returned code 126: The specified module could not be found. (Z:\01DoVi\temp.folder25\9_FEL.avs, line 2)"

I checked my tools folder and avs_libplacebo.dll is indeed in the root. Any suggestions?

no idea, works fine for me but i just noticed that there is an issue with the HDR10 Base layer SDR tone-mapped screenshots in that workflow which is unrelated to your issue and is now fixed in latest beta. Anyway, I dont see the point in comparing HDR images in SDR(this is not lossless). The script outputs proper HDR metadata for the HDR screenshots which can be viewed in HDR (or mapped to SDR) on Chrome/Edge/Opera browser. EG: https://slow.pics/c/bTBjYZuB Also, ffms2 for my screenshots workflow (7-1) is quite slow so not really usable IMO. When you encode in 8-2-1, it's fine.

Here's a DV profile 4? (SDR HEVC BL?) file I came across from someone linking on Plex forums:

I'm removing this, MEGA started throttling my account ever since I posted it lol - I can't download my 8K movie trailers that get posted to MEGA because of 'account usage' 😭

Edit: It's from here - the 'LG' one IIRC - https://www.demolandia.net/4k-video-tes ... age-2.html

FWIW, when that happens to me, I just briefly turn on VPN and it seems to usually let the file download fast again, at least with JDownloader2 and a paid MEGA account. Cheers.

After updating to the newest scripts release, I'm also noticing that the metafier always says incorrect file name range syntax even though I'm not using any special characters at all. Any suggestions?

Example of your filename and path, please?

I use this (Microsoft Store) app on Windows for viewing HDR screenshots, I like it:

Thanks but It looks like it doesn't handle my HDR png images correctly, the black levels are wrong. Probably because they are full-range RGB.
Windows Photo App and the slow.pics/comparison website and madVR display my RGB HDR png images properly.

Why is MaxCLL calculated with DaVinci Resolve so different than MadVR? What is the most accurate?

I've converted several HDR10 titles to DV using the 6-2 and 3-1 workflows and have been pleased with the results. With 6-2 I've been selecting "n" for exclude letterbox for estimating MaxFALL due to the warning about processing time. To what extent might this impact the end result? I only want to convert my library once, so don't want to take short-cuts if they are undermining final quality.
