Need a uhd drive

Hi all

From what I have read the pioneer drives are the best to buy but new ones can’t be currently flashed if I’m understanding it correctly.
The suggestion is to contact a regional seller, I’m in an England and it seems as though ours is not well at present and the shop is not up and running.

What are my options please, as I would like to start ripping asap.

If you don't mind using an external drive, the Verbatim 43888 is basically a Pioneer inside and supports UHD discs without having to reflash.
