Does copying this file into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV help?

KEYDB.cfg IS the file. Copy it into the MakeMKV data directory & restart MakeMKV. Try the disc again.

The KEYDB.cfg file is updated regularly. It sounds like you need a new version, i.e. one that contains a line starting with:

You can download the keydb from the page linked by both MrPenguin and d00zah. If navigating to a web page is confusing, here is a direct link: This is a clickable link to download the keydb
When you download the keydb, it will be a zip file. You will need to extract or "unzip" this file. I know it sounds overwhelming but don't worry - your computer can unzip it for you.

If you manage to unzip the file post an update here and we'll try to walk you through the next steps. Just a heads up: it'll involve cutting and pasting but you won't need any scissors. Crazy stuff...

The KEYDB is not part of MakeMKV. It is an optional, external resource that MakeMKV can use, potentially allowing you to unlock your disks faster than by otherwise waiting for svq@makemkv.com to generate a new hashed key.

You are free either to use or not use KEYDB, irrespective of any licence you have purchased for MakeMKV. However, AFAIK the time it takes for svq@makemkv.com to provide new hashed keys has always been both unknown and unknowable, even for licensed users.

I haven't used Windows for many years, but if you click on a link to a ZIP file then doesn't Windows download that ZIP file automatically? And when you click / double-click on that ZIP file, then doesn't Windows open it for you to reveal the KEYDB.cfg inside?

The Boy works with MAKE MKV now.
I downloaded and unzipped the file with 7zip.

Added the key you provided, and it works.

Great to hear you got it working. Just remember that the keydb is usually updated several times a day, so you may need to periodically re-download it to get support for the latest titles.

Have you also tried "Bob Le Flambeur" and "You're Next"?
