I've recently purchased an ASUS SBW-06D2X-U external blu ray player/fingerprint magnet, can I ask the procedure to make it LibreDrive enabled?.

how is it possible that the drive is now capable of read 4k Ultra HD disk?
should be physically impossible!

The hardware was always capable. Your original firmware was just "crippled".

Libre drive information doesn't pull up for that drive for some reason, but for other drives it does. Does that mean its not supported?
