replace D with your drive letter and try flashing wh16NS60 1.00 it that dont work do 1.02mk then 1.00

yeah but i asked like 5 other things like what happen when you run makemkv flasher on that and other pc direct sata
and lg unoffical and offical on both pc i have 1 queston answred out of 20 after this i give up
im sure its fixable but we just cant communicate

get a pioneer they are better anyway

but i answered. only dosflash is on retro pc. on my main pc that the drives is about to stay i will report with using internal sata only and will leave the usb aside. i cant use official flasher it doent recognise the drive firmware (because is corupted?) unlock flashers abort the fw write. the command you give me i had try it heres the pictures

the last link you send me was odd firmware updater that will update any lg bd-re drive. at first it didnt work it though version=boot was higher that 1.02 (latest for the bh16ns60) i edit some txt and xml file change the version boot to 1.00 write protect the txt and xml. and finally it download the original 1.02 flasher and the drive got out from boot mode i also successful downgrade to wh16ns60 1.00 and dosflash now success intro the device can you send me some files with calibration data? the ones from here mk or de firmwares dont have it drive wont even spin with those. with mine firmware the drive spins but fails to detect discs. i did also a fw dump before write anything to the drive maybe my calibration data isnt completely broken and can fixed dont know just in case

when the drive enter in boot mode only official lg flashers will get the drive out of it. sdf flasher will not work it will complain that the drive isnt MT1959 platform. unlock flashers both asus and lg will not work missmach errors. comand line flash like makemkvcon64.exe f --all-yes -t mtk19xx -d G: rawflash full -i C:\fw.bin wont work with or without enc in the command. what will work if official lg flasher cant be obtained is the oddfirmwareupdate.exe but not as is. when run it will say that no updates are avaible its thinking the boot version is higher that wat is avaible to fix this you need to edit the ODDChecker.txt inside the C:\Program Files (x86)\ODD Auto Firmware Update change the version=boot to 1.00 and write protect the file also on the setting folder is an xml file with firmware version do the same there as well. run the program it will download the updater but the updater needs to be run manually grab it fom programdata folder and run it restart and the drive is out from boot mode. i hope my english can be undreastand

no that file didnt fix it. do you have more dumps? it didnt have to be wh16ns60 a can use the BH16NS40_EEPROM_Data_Mover.exe to move it to wh16ns60.bin also those dumps from encrypted firmwares that are in tar i can hex edit them to wh16ns60.bin. dam it will be long day

nah the one i sent is not encrypted
i have alot more but i dont think it will help
be sure your flashing the file directly with dosflash no need for data mover tool this already has cal data.
1 more thats it then call the drive dead
