Stuck at loading DVD disc

It's v1.17.7. Have entered the beta key.

I can play the video on VLC through reading disc and also work well on handbrake.

The DVD reader spec is Pioneer DVR-XU01.

DVD is brand new unpack Japanese adult video, I am pretty sure I did not touch the laser side.

It just stuck at scanning after launch the program. Or launch the program then put in disc it would say loading.

Both endless stuck there. Did not report any error at log.

What could be the problem? I am trying to backup the iso file from disc.

Maybe another DVD Opening Mode can help.

Sometimes new discs can have an almost invisible film on them that hampers a drive's ability to read them. Sometimes a gentle cleaning can help.
