Hi All,
As title states, my computer has died. I don’t know much about diagnosis or fixing them and don’t really have the time too either. I have an extensive collection of 4K disc waiting to be ripped to my NAS. I currently have an LG WH16NS40 in my old computer. I am looking at a refurbished Dell Optiplex 7070 Desktop Computer | Hexa Core Intel i7 (3.4GHz) | 32GB DDR4 RAM | 500GB SSD Solid State. I use MakeMKV for ripping and the handbrake before I move them to my NAS. My questions are can I mount my existing LG drive in the computer or do I need to buy an enclosure for it? Also will this computer be sufficient?
Many thanks

Computer died, I need a new one just for ripping.

That computer looks like it comes in various form factors. It might be able to be mounted in there, but putting the drive in an enclosure is probably easiest. Vantec makes decent ones.
That computer will be plenty for running MakeMKV. 500GB of storage will probably feel too small, but external storage is relatively inexpensive.
As for Handbrake, it depends.
