Hi,

what are the usual turnaround times for uploaded dump files?

I sent a link to the afore mentioned dump file 11 days ago, but MakeMKV still does not open the disk.
I also saw no download on the linked dump file.

Or is it already working for anybody out there, i.e., could it be that I have a local problem?

Just tried the keydb.cfg download method, but despite a key for a disk version being present, MakeMKV would not open the disk:

I usually just attach the dump to the email I send, unless the dump is too big to email.

In any case, it can sometimes take a couple weeks for a key. It doesn't hurt to send the dump again.

Does MakeMKV have a message about HK download failed or disabled?

Automatic HK downloading is disabled or failed.

Makemkv needs a Volume key. There is none for this disc in KEYDB.cfg. You would need other software to make use of the entry in KEYDB.cfg.

SamuriHL just suggested in another thread to use the free version of the Xreveal program that also works with unit keys. Install Xreveal, load the disc and then start Makemkv and it should work since Xreveal decrypts the disc.

Correct. It'll show you in its status window if there's an applicable key in the keydb for your particular disc. It shows the disc ID for the disc either way which is quite helpful. It's a real time decrypter like the RedFox product was and uses the keydb for its source of keys. MakeMKV will of course complain that a third party tool decrypted the disc but if it doesn't have its own key or a VUK in the keydb, then too bad. LOL (The warning was added years ago for blu-ray issues caused by other decryption software and doesn't really cause problems on UHD's so it can be ignored).
