In the dual-track dual-layer support column, I noticed mkv being mentioned. Is DTDL possible in matroska nowadays?RESET_9999 wrote: Wed Jun 05, 2024 3:55 pm I updated the playback device spreadsheet just a few days ago, check it out

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
It's supported when the 2nd layer has the dv flag (sidedata) and AFAIK, the only way to get that is by muxing a DT MP4.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Is there a guide somewhere on how to create such DTDL mkv when I have a DTDL MP4, or even already separate BL and EL+RPU? Can this be directly done in MKVToolNix?RESET_9999 wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2024 11:03 am It's supported when the 2nd layer has the dv flag (sidedata) and AFAIK, the only way to get that is by muxing a DT MP4.

1- mux a DT-DL MP4 in mkvtoolnix
2- mux raw hevc layers in mkvtoolnix but this produces a dvhe.07.03 file instead of dvhe.07.06

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Thanks, RESET. And sorry to get back on this but I had a go on both and not sure what to think here.RESET_9999 wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2024 2:07 pm1- mux a DT-DL MP4 in mkvtoolnix

When importing separate BL and EL+RPU in MTX, MediaInfo indeed shows "Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, Profile 7.6, dvhe.07.03" on resulting mkv.
The above elementary tracks I extracted from a dtdl mp4, which I too - directly - imported in MTX. Weird thing here is that MediaInfo doesn't mention Dolby Vision anywhere on the mkv result.
Don't know what's happening here; do I have to set something manually in MTX GUI on DTDL mp4 import?
[EDIT] My apologies, never mind. I had a flawed mp4 source that was created with ffmpeg.
Did it with a dtdl mp4 created with mp4muxer, things are now peachy

don't worry about it if you don't have a 10gbps network/hardware.
I have two Ugoos devices and they both behave the same.

I have a 3gbps plan but my internet speed is irrelevant. A 10gbps local network can be very useful without fast internet.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Anyone know if Dead Reckoning has raised brightness levels like the rest of the M:I series? I didn't see it in the DV Google Sheet but wanted to double-check.

I post only the ones that expand brightness in that section of the spreadsheet. Look at the other tabs below, there's one called ''screenshot comparisons'' where I do the ones that don't expand brightness.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Another issue with 3-2 for me, this time on a HDR10 file. Happens when madvr measurement is supposed to take place:

I redownloaded the tools folder, tried the latest beta, and also older versions to no avail. Any suggestions to what i have messed up this time?
*edit*: Never mind, rolling LAV Filters back to stable (0.79.2) did the trick.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Sorry if this is off-topic but what is the best playback using Windows on a PC ultrawide monitor?
I’ve purchased the AM6B+ for my OLED TVs but I would also like to play my UHD remuxes on my ultrawide monitor.
My ultrawide does support HDR (not Dolby vision) but it’s not great.
