Thanks, basically the same as IlikeMovies

Would Prefer 5,25"
Would like to read 4k-Blurays, but it doesn't have to.
Check your PM.
Thanks, not sure what the policy here is to gain PM permissions... do you also have an offer on UHD ? Just asking, I might be still going for the BD Version
Take it or leave it.

I have the same interest as OP and am also located in Germany; would you be so kind to send / forward me that PM as well, please?
Is the "PM" for me available too? (Germany and 5,25 Drive for UHD's)

Thank you in advance

Please let us know your country of residence to give the best advice for a Pioneer. And also if you prefer a slim or 5,25" drive.
I'm in the U.S. and I'd like to know the best DVD/BluRay reader (I don't burn them). I don't care if it is internal or external.
If you are still sending out PMs I appreciate that very much. Thank you.

Hello. I'm in the same boat as everybody else here. Looking for the most reliable UHD capable slim 9.5mm internal optical drive to install in the small form factor PC that I'm building. It doesn't have to be the newest model because I can find just about anything on eBay. I just want a high quality reliable one, if they exist.

For reference, I live in the USA. The PC I'm building will have a Linux OS. Nobara specifically. My current PC is running Windows, but it's older than windows 10. I'm not going to 'upgrade' it just to flash an optical drive.

Hey there,
I´m new to the Forum, but not to the Software. Have bought an Asus BW-16D1HT, but that doesn´t seem to be very good from what I have read here. Are there other drives that you could recommend to a german Blu-Ray enthusiast? :D 4K Ripping capabilities would be much appreciated, but long lasting is definitly my priority. Had an older LG just crap out in the middle of a rip, that was annoying... And this Asus drive seems pretty picky with my Blu-Rays, even after a downgrade to version 3.10.

Best regards

Jonny

Well, I´m a german guy from germany xD Any recommendations for drives, that are common in my country? 2016+ would be nice for the downgrade-options + I could look for a used one as they tend to cost anywhere from half to a third as much as new drives :)
